It is Sohel's objective to "To teach in an environment that consists of passionate people who believe in what they do, who are energetic, positive and motivated" Originally from a Hip Hop and R&B dance background Sohel is currently teaching with one of the most prestigious salsa schools in Sydney, Salsa Republic where he has been involved in:

Choreographing and conducting work shops
Choreographing routines and performance
Dancing in a Video clip for Australian pop band "Noise Works"

Initially a self-taught salsa dancer Sohel started dancing as a social dancer, his salsa styling has been influenced by street Hip Hop. After one year of social dancing he was asked to join a large sydney salsa school, as one of the Business Partners and also a dance instructor, for 2 years involved in the following areas
